My name is Gary Chelette from Spring, Texas. I am a full time Deputy Sheriff with the Harris County Sheriff's Office working in Motorcycle Section of the Traffic Enforcement Section.
Though my interest in knives have been with me all my life, my passion for making knives began when I was unable to find a boot knife that I liked for my riding boots. Towards the end of the summer of 2012, using a friend's shop, I began playing with different ideas and designs.
After I created the boot knife that fit my needs and requirements, I found that others wanted one of my boot knives. I continued to create and design new knives both fixed and folding blades.
As my work has gained popularity, I have now set up my own shop and to continue my work.
