The unique bolt action shape allows for one fluid motion to advance or retract the refill. Because the surfaces of both the interior part and the inside surface have been carefully machined to be extra smooth, the action feels amazingly satisfying. If there’s one pen that we recommend to new customers, it’s the Bolt Action.

The Standard [5.6"] comes with a Pilot G2 0.7 mm refill, the Short [5.1"]comes with a Schmidt EasyFlow 9000 medium refill, and the Mini [4.4"] comes with a Pilot G2 Mini 0.7mm refill. Many of our customers like to use their own personal favorites, however, and so we put together a list of compatible refills that work with our Bolt Action pens.
Copper has natural antimicrobial properties and, because we don't coat any of our pens, they will patina and darken with time and use. Like many customers, we love a good patina.
